For more than 15 years EURISCO has worked with development of hardware and software for telecommunication, defense industry and power grid systems.
The persons behind EURISCO are active members of international IEC standardisation groups for Distributed Energy Resources (IEC TC57) and EV charging systems (IEC TC69)
EURISCO IS PROJECTLEADER FOR WP5
The EDISON project is a research and development project (ForskEL) with the primary purpose of developing and testing technologies as a ’proof of concept’. The technologies developed could be the basis for further demonstration and real-life implementation.
The basic work areas of WP5 are:

Concept development and testing of a charging system for private homes (charging post)

Development of a communication system between EV and the power system

Input to grid codes and international standardization work

Dissemination of results in relation to the project
For all activities in WP5 it will be preferred to have an open technology concept where the results and designs can be used freely by system integrators, product developer and research institutions.
