Subtask 5: Communication & Control within Central Stations and towards the Vehicle and the Grid

The communication and control functions between the grid, the central charging stations and the vehicles (in particular the batteries) will be developed as part of the Project in close cooperation with work packages 3 and 5.

The following will be developed and tested:

-           Communication between vehicle and charging station,

-           Communication between charging station and the power system

-           Communication within the battery-swapping station

-           Control of power flow, power loss, battery state and energy accounting.

Smart meter, ‘virtual power plant concepts’ and billing procedures will be closely reviewed and analyzed.
